When and Where is the event?
Skills for the Hills 2026 takes place on Saturday 7th March 2026 in the Pathfoot Building of Stirling University.
Is there any catering
The coffee pod in the Pathfoot Building will be open serving teas, coffees, and light snacks.
Additional catering options are available at Campus Central approx. 5 - 10 min walk away.
Can I bring a dog?
Sorry, only guide dogs / assistance dogs are permitted within the university buildings.
is the event suitable for wheelchair users?
The University of Stirling is an accessible venue.

Pathfoot Building
There are blue badge parking spaces available in the front Pathfoot car park. The building has both steps and a ramp for access. Internally there are steps in the main corridors but lift options are available. The main entry to the lecture theatre has steps but there is a level entrance leading to the lower part where there is space for wheelchairs. There are accessible toilets and gender neutral toilets within the Pathfoot Building.

Outdoors
Our outdoor activities will be accessed from the rear door of the Pathfoot. There are steps from the main area to the door but a lift is available. Some displays and activities will be taking place in the rear car park. Other activities will be in the university grounds including grass and woodland areas. Some of the outdoor activities will require a reasonable degree of mobility.

Changing Places
A Changing Places toilet is available at the MacRobert Art Centre in the main part of the campus about 5 - 10 mins walk away.

is the Event Suitable for children?
There is no lower age limit but the event may not be of interest to young children. Baby changing facilities are available.
How do I get there?
Please have a look at our travel page for transport options.
Do I have to pre-book for the event?
No. You can just turn up.
Do I have to prebook for any of the activities?
Our indoor presentations can accommodate up to 200 people on a first come first served basis. Workshops and some demonstrations may have a limited capacity and require pre-booking to reserve a space. Check for information nearer the time.
