It was great to meet so many people at the Dundee Mountain Film Festival over the weekend. We had a really enjoyable time talking to everyone.
Thank you especially to those of you who made a small donation; we raised £58.05 which will fund a space on one of 1-day winter skills courses this season. Our Bag-A-Hill with Mountain Aid game made a return - this time in the Glencoe and Lochaber area. Given the weather outside, it was definitely the best way to be bagging hills this weekend. Our Munro Passports continued to be popular with people of that persuasion and that's stocks almost depleted now. Which is good because we need to get them updated with our new (SCIO) charity number. Watch this space for their replacement. Mountain Aid buffs must have been the bargain of the show. Yours for a donation of just £5 whilst our "competitors" were selling theirs for twice and even three times this amount! Upset our lovely friends from the MBA over this one. And of course, despite us living in the digital age, everyone still needs a pen (even if just to fill out the nominate your favourite film form) and we had a good supply of Mountain Aid pens to hand out for people to take away with them. Looking forward to next year's event.
